What is DMK MD StemZyme Treatment?
Who are DMK?
DMK stands for Danne Montague King. Danne has spent a lifetime developing cutting edge skin chemistry solutions to heal the skin from within using plants and ingredients that the skin recognises and can work with. He also developed the muscle pain reliever, BioFreeze. He worked for many years with doctors in hospitals and clinics focusing on severe acne cases, burns and scarring. He knows only too well what it is like to suffer with acne as his own journey with severe teen acne and this is what set him on his path to create DMK.
How does DMK MD StemZyme Work?
StemZyme is a specialised, advanced DMK facial that slows the decline of adult skin stem cells. There are no machines or invasive procedures, just pure skin chemistry. For those who are familiar with the DMK Enzyme Therapy treatment, StemZyme is a similar process but is made up of 5 treatments over 50 days with specialist homecare. The key points about StemZyme are, it;
- Aids the renewal of stem cells.
- Differentiates the stem cells into the various skin cells we need.
- Strengthens the skin’s immune system.
- It helps prevent inflammatory skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation (dark, uneven skin tone).
Why is StemZyme so revolutionary when it comes to stem cell activation?
- It’s a non-invasive treatment – there is no break to the skin, no heavy chemical products and no downtime (ie a period when the skin is distressed).

Are there other stem cell treatments available?
Yes and they are listed below along with some concerns about their efficacy.
- Plant stem cells infused into topical products.
- Once isolated these plant stem cells die and they bear no relation to a human stem cell and therefore will have no effect on human cellular processe.
- Plant small chain polypeptides from plant stems cells infused into topical products.
- Polypeptides are sub-cellular i.e. they are a specific part of a cell that drives the process of division like a tool. However, they are unstable and because they are from a totally different species cannot actiate human stem cell replication.
- Stem Cell Facial/Facelift with microneedling where stems cells are isolated from belly fat and injected into the face.
- The cells degrade quickly and do not change into human stem cell organelles plus it is invasive with potential for immuneogenic shock.
- Chemical exfoliation.
- Aims through irritation in the upper layer of the epidermis (stratum corneum) to activate stem cells. But stem cells are within the basal (bottom of the epidermis) layer and chemical exfoliation won’t reach there.

Enbioment Cleanser
This Ph neutral (meaning it doesn’t disrupt your natural Ph balance) cleanser uses coconut based surfectants to wash away dirt and debris without stripping the skin’s natural oils or good bacteria. This is used throughout the 50 day cycle.
Stemzyme Serum 4 – Skin Stabilising Emulsion
This serum guides the newly activated stem cells to create new cell division and cell differentiation ie. The stem cells convert to specific skin cells. This is used in Days 1-3.
Stemzyme Serum 5 – Skin Defining Emulsion
This serum further regulates new stem cells to join the pathway of becoming a new epidermal skin cell. This is also only used in Days 1-3.
Stemzyme Serum 6 – Age Management Skin Lotion
Assists in renewing the body’s rhythm of turnover and replishment of epidermal stem cells. It helps maintain the natural circadian rhythm of repair and replication.
Stemzyme Serum 7 – Skin Refining Lotion
This works alongside Serum 6 to support how well the stem cells mature and differentiation into skin cells.

What happens during a StemZyme treatment?
StemZyme is made up of 5 separate treatments. The first treatment is the main StemZyme treatment, followed by 4 Enzyme Therapy treatments, 10-12 days apart. Those who are familiar with the Enzyme facial will find the 4 follow-up treatments like their previous experience. The main StemZyme uses different serums plus both the hot and cold masks at key points in the process.

Who is the treatment for?
It is suitable for anyone looking to future-proof their skin, increase skin health and can be introduced at almost any age. The difference is the number of times you would repeat the StemZyme process. For example, a very damaged 45 year old skin, might have StemZyme twice a year. A 30 year old with no skin concerns might have StemZyme once in 5 years.
