GINGER TREE SHOP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. GT only sells and ships to the UK Mainland.

2. Our specialist skincare brands – Dermaviduals, DMK, Osmosis MD, and Environ, can only be sold to existing clients who have had a full skin consultation. Your account status will be changed from Customer to Client once a consultation is given, and this will allow access to all our products. New clients can book their online or in-clinic skin consultation here. See our appointment cancellation policy here

3. We use first-class Royal Mail for delivery. We are not responsible for postal delays due to Royal Mail. Delivery is usually within 3 working days of submitting your order. We will text to keep you updated should there be any delays. Ginger Tree’s working days are Wednesday-Friday and one Saturday per month. We do not post on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

4. The purchaser is responsible for receiving the ordered goods and must give instructions for leaving parcels at their location. Returned parcels due to inaccurate addresses or failure to collect from your sorting office will be charged the standard rate for re-delivery.

5. Orders up to 2kg will incur a £4.95 postage and packing fee. This is reviewed annually on 1st April. Orders over £150 receive free postage.

6. If a product is out of stock, we will advise you and make an alternative suggestion where possible.

7. We accept the return of unopened products if you change your mind, but the postal costs will be at your expense. Where a product is faulty then we will refund the costs of the return postage and post a substitute or replacement item. Any omissions or faulty products must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

8. It is the client’s responsibility to declare all products currently being used. It is the client’s responsibility to patch test these products alongside any GT purchased products.

9. If a reaction to any GT purchased product occurs, the client must send in a photo and full explanation of the situation, including dates, numbers of time the product has been used and how it’s been used. Your therapist will then advise you on the best course of action.

10. Payments are processed via Stripe, a secure shopping site, and Ginger Tree does not hold any card details except if you have registered of your own accord on our Phorest online booking system. The Phorest booking system also records clients’ contact details, product purchases, appointments, and treatment notes. This is a secure site with two-step password security. Clients are free to have their client card archived if they no long attend appointments. For treatment insurance, Ginger Tree is required to keep records available (but not active) for 7 years.

12. You have a legal right to be forgotten; please email salon@gingertreeskinclinic.co.uk with the subject line “Right to be Forgotten”. We will action your request within 48 hours. 

GINGER TREE APPOINTMENT TERMS AND CONDITION

Full contact details, including an email and mobile phone number, are required on booking.

A 20% deposit is required for all appointments.

48 hours’ notice is required for all appointments. Where cancellation is less than 48 hours full payment for the missed appointment is required. Failure to pay the missed appointment fee will result in no further appointments being accepted.

Ginger Tree is a child free space, and no appointments can be accepted for anyone under 16.

Clients booking courses of treatments where a financial benefit is included, must pay for the whole course up front, and use a course of 6 treatments within 7 months and a course of 10 treatments within 11 months. It is at the discretion of the owner whether a course can be substituted for another course of treatment to the same value, or the client pay the difference for a more expensive course. No course refund will be given.

The therapist is required to take before and after photos of all facial treatments. Unless specified by the client, we will use these to promote our services.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. Late arrival will mean a reduction in your treatment time. If the diary is running late due to the therapist, then you will receive a text advising you that we are running late, and you will still receive your full treatment time.

If you decide to alter your booking on arrival to a treatment of less value and time, you will still be charged the original booking fee. If the therapist advises you to have a different treatment of lesser value and/or time, you will be charged the price for that treatment.

Salon etiquette –
we have a “slipper code” at Ginger Tree. All outdoor shoes and coats must be left in the place provided near the front entrance door. Outdoor shoes must be replaced with the slippers provided or the client is welcome to bring their own.

Children and dogs are not permitted in the clinic.

Please respect the quiet ambience of the clinic and wait in Reception until you are called for your appointment. Please close doors quietly and keep noise to a minimum. Mobile phones should be switched to silent. Please do not have conversations in the corridors, entrance hall or reception area while other clients are in the building.

Please do not bring food or drink into the clinic. Herbal teas, water, juice and snacks are provided.
Please advise us of any product needs before an appointment. This helps with both time management and stock control.
